Happy Yogis

I’ve done yoga for many years and Andy’s classes are the best I’ve ever done. Always well-paced and with the right level of challenge, the message and atmosphere throughout is one of love, acceptance and being in the moment. I can’t recommend his classes enough.

I had done yoga before but I found Andy to be a brilliant yoga instructor with no pushing or judgements. Andy is very softly spoken and knows how to help even the first timers feel confident and able. A fabulous yogi.

Andy’s sessions are great! I was a total new comer to Yoga and started off with his beginners class. Despite being over Zoom he still watches when he can and gives direction and corrections. I have progressed and now able to attend any session and really enjoying it. His hour of Yoga is such a good way to clear your mind, forget about your troubles and focus on you, as well as the stretching and strength workout.

Since I have started Andy’s Yoga classes I find that I am far more relaxed and focused than I was before; they are calming, restorative and truly are a sanctuary away from life’s stresses. I look forward to classes more than I can say, and really feel they are part of my self care; helping mind, body and soul. Andy always ensures his chosen playlists flow perfectly with the movements, and reads a beautiful poem during shavasana, which I personally highly appreciate!

Yoga is a gift for yourself and Andy is a gift to Yoga.

‘Andy’s classes are an absolute joy! An amazing repertoire of varied poses and sequences, and options for individual poses – even if you’re tired, these classes will engage you, lift you, and make you feel great. This is all also due to Andy’s wonderful manner – he is so uplifting, encouraging, sensitive, and, funny! The atmosphere he creates in his classes is truly fabulous, supportive, and unique. Physically and mentally, he’s been keeping me going.’

I enjoy Andy’s class and his friendly style of teaching. Not that other instructors aren’t friendly, but some can be very serious.
His cues make me smile, eg: asking us to imagine being pieces of bread in a toaster in triangle. It describes what he wants us to do perfectly.
It’s great when he introduces new styles that challenge us. I have never done falling star before, that’s a good one.

I used to think that yoga was boring but Andy’s yoga flow sessions are fabulous. His instructions are clear and encouraging and I love the way that there is no judgement, no frustrations, just positivity. I have improved my flexibility and balance in just a few short weeks. Highly recommended.

absolutely enjoy the classes, the vibe and professionalism of Andy. I am very grateful for him as I normally not keen to do classes but in this case it is quite opposite. Thank you for making me love yoga so much.

I have been learning yoga with Andy for nearly 6 months now and I feel great!  Andy is an excellent teacher, very supportive but also knows when to push for greater effort.  I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his classes!’

Andy is a first rate yoga teacher. He explains the poses clearly and helpfully suggests alternatives for those at different stages of their practice. His classes have a very positive energy. I’ve also enjoyed his inspirational readings during shavasana. Andy’s weekly classes have allowed me to develop my yoga practice despite the lockdown restrictions. I’d highly recommend Andy as a yoga teacher.

As a 47-year-old yoga cynic, (it will be boring because I like classes where I can fling myself around to music), I was dragged into doing a yoga ap with my 22-year-old niece whilst on holiday in Italy. The romance of the setting was enough to gear me on (and the opportunity to do something with my niece), but however hard I tried I could not keep up the momentum at all when I was back home….it was boring. Andy set up his Zoom yoga sessions so I thought I would give it a go; I am now hooked! I never, ever, ever thought I would be someone who enjoys yoga, but I now often go to all 3 sessions a week that he offers. He is patient, funny, non-judgmental and I feel I have come on leaps and bounds in the last 6 months or so that I have been doing it. The classes are really varied so you never know what is coming and it is never boring (Andy couldn’t be boring if he tried)! As a total novice I would really recommend him as his clear instructions and how at ease he makes us feel are a perfect combination. I feel like I can say ‘I do yoga’ without feeling like a fraud, which is a phrase I never thought I would use. I feel stronger both mentally and physically which has been so important for me, especially during lockdown, I could not recommend Andy enough for all levels.
